    Observations

    • THE FIRST TRIPLETT MODEL IN THIS COMPARISON, AN AMERICAN ELECTRICAL TOOL BRAND founded in New Hampshire, in the same vein as the already-covered Klein Tools and Milwaukee: electrical-tool manufacturers diversifying into thermography rather than long-standing specialists in the field.
    • THE SAME 220 × 160 SENSOR AS THE ALREADY-COVERED HTI HT-A1 AND HT-18+, a fairly uncommon resolution shared by these three devices from separate manufacturers, suggesting a shared underlying sensor platform reused across several tool brands.
    • Neither Wi-Fi, nor Bluetooth, nor a mobile app are documented. A device built for standalone use with USB-cable transfer only, going against the now-widespread wireless connectivity found on most recent devices in the same price segment.
