About and editorial policy
Thermal-camera specifications are often incomplete, inconsistently measured or presented in ways that blur native detector data and processed output. This project makes the underlying documentation easier to inspect.
The Thermogram is an independent editorial research project maintained in France. It is not a manufacturer, retailer, testing laboratory or certification body. The publisher does not claim engineering credentials or hands-on experience that the project does not have.
Each record is assembled from manufacturer datasheets and manuals, then supplemented with clearly identified third-party material when a primary source is silent. Sources and access dates appear on every product page.
There are currently no affiliate links, paid rankings or commercial partnerships. Price bands are excluded from every technical score. If monetization is introduced later, it will be disclosed without changing the scoring formulas.
The listed cameras have not been physically tested by The Thermogram. The site compares documented specifications and points out discrepancies; it does not replace calibration, professional judgment or a hands-on review.
Manufacturer documentation changes. The verification date is stored with the data, and methodology changes are logged publicly. A public contact channel will be added before any commercial activity; until then, the legal notice explains the publisher and hosting framework.
