Observations
AN ADVERTISED IFOV OF 4.62 mrad, consistent with recalculating from the 42° field of view and the sensor's 160 columns. The fifth RS PRO model in this comparison, which now makes it possible to compare this distributor own-brand's internal consistency: across five datasheets, two show an IFOV exactly consistent with an independent recalculation (this one and the 227-5213), one has a NETD inconsistency within its own document (the 279-6364), and the others don't publish enough detail to verify. Documentation quality therefore varies noticeably from one model to another within the same brand, unlike manufacturers such as testo or FLIR, whose datasheets follow a more consistent template.
