    Observations

    • The heaviest device in the entire RS PRO range in this comparison. 920 g for a modest 160 × 120 sensor, versus notably lighter competitors at the same resolution. An IFOV of 3.33 mrad exactly consistent with recalculating from its field of view.
    • A CONTINUOUS DIGITAL ZOOM FROM 1 TO 20×, THE MOST POWERFUL IN THE ENTIRE COMPARISON, well beyond the 8 to 15× typical of already-documented high-end devices (FLIR E96, Thermal Master P3). Such an aggressive digital zoom on an entry-level sensor inevitably degrades image clarity at high magnification, but the figure remains a notable selling point.
