OBSERVATION DEVICE, NOT A TEMPERATURE-MEASUREMENT CAMERA: the Telos LRF XL50 publishes no temperature range, accuracy or emissivity control. It is therefore excluded from all six radiometric-camera rankings, like the other monoculars in the catalog.
The specification distinguishes sensor NETD (< 40 mK) from system NETD (< 20 mK). The normalized NETD column retains the detector figure to avoid mixing two indicators.
The laser rangefinder is rated to 1,000 m with ± 1 m accuracy; deer-sized target detection is rated to 2,300 m.
