An observation device, not a measuring one. Like the already-covered HIKMICRO M15 Explorer in this comparison, the Falcon publishes no temperature range, no emissivity setting, and no reflected-temperature correction; it doesn't measure, it detects. Its exceptional sensitivity is meant for spotting an animal or a person in total darkness, not for producing a reliable temperature value. Excluded from this site's scoring system for that reason — see our dedicated article on thermal cameras for hunting.
Detection distance advertised up to 1200 m with this 25 mm lens; two longer lenses (35 and 50 mm) and a 640 × 512 sensor exist in the same range, with a claimed range up to 2600 m.
