Observations
Likely the same sensor as the Goyojo GW192A and Tooltop T3. A native 96 × 96, a 50° field of view, and very similar measurement ranges. The difference lies entirely in how the manufacturer communicates it.
Interpolation openly advertised by the manufacturer itself, unlike the Goyojo GW192A. HABOTEST's documentation explicitly states 'Super-resolution technology boosts IR resolution from 96x96 up to 240x240', with no attempt to pass 240 × 240 off as the sensor's own resolution. This is exactly the distinction documented in our article on super resolution, between openly disclosed interpolation and a silently inflated resolution: with the same sensor, one manufacturer discloses it, the other doesn't.
An interpolation ratio of 6.25, identical to the already-covered HIKMICRO B20S and HIKMICRO PocketE in this comparison: six out of every seven displayed pixels are computed.
