Observations
- Dual-field pistol-grip camera. The TwinView lens switches between a wide and a narrow field without changing optics (25° + 15° or 25° + 45° depending on version).
- New-generation 12 µm VOx detector (ApexVision platform unveiled at CES 2026), rated at 15 mK.
- Standard range -40 to 650°C; measuring up to 2,000°C requires the RangeMax lens kit.
- The 1280 × 960 displayed resolution is software super-resolution; only the native 640 × 480 value is used in calculations.
- Visible camera listed at 13 MP by one retailer and 8 MP by another: left as not published until the manufacturer datasheet confirms it.
