Observations
Misleading advertised resolution, confirmed by a verified buyer review rather than by any single retailer source. The product is sold everywhere as '192 × 192 IR Resolution', with no mention of image processing anywhere on the manufacturer's or retailers' listings. A buyer who took apart or tested the device explicitly reports on a marketplace that the sensor's actual resolution is 96 × 96, brought up to 192 × 192 through undisclosed software upscaling, with this comment: 'no, AI up-scaling does not compensate for lack of hardware'. This is the only device in this entire comparison where the gap between native and advertised resolution is confirmed neither by the manufacturer nor by a retailer, but solely by an independent user report.
Likely the same sensor as the already-documented Habotest HT821A and Tooltop T3 in this comparison. All three devices share a native 96 × 96 sensor, a 50° field of view, and a -20 to 400 or 550°C range. HABOTEST and TOOLTOP openly advertise the image processing on their own datasheets ('Super-resolution technology boosts IR resolution from 96x96'); GOYOJO does so nowhere in its official documentation.
Commonly sold during discount promotions, between 70 and 90 dollars.
