    Observations

    • The stated accuracy tightens to ±1 °C between 5 and 100 °C; the ±2 °C or ±2 % value used here is the general datasheet figure.
    • NETD depends on the lens: under 30 mK with the 42°, under 40 mK with the standard 24°, under 50 mK with the 14°. The 24° value is used.
    • The 2,000 °C range is split into sub-ranges; readings above 650 °C use a dedicated high range.
    • 180° rotating optical block, built-in eyepiece viewfinder and 4-inch screen, the same architecture as the T560 already in this comparison, but with a 12 µm pitch detector.
    • UltraMax quadruples the pixel count, but only as post-processing in FLIR software: it does not increase the resolution measured by the sensor.
    • Weight and dimensions come from a reseller sheet for the T8xx series and are given without lens.
