    Observations

    • Modèle d'entrée de gamme historique de la série Ex, aujourd'hui discontinué mais encore très présent sur le marché de l'occasion et très recherché. Détecteur natif réel de seulement 80×60 (4 800 pixels) : les 320×240 affichés proviennent du MSX, qui plaque les contours de la caméra visible 0,3 Mpx sur l'image thermique — c'est un rehaussement visuel, pas une vraie résolution thermique. NETD élevé (150 mK) typique de cette génération. Objectif à mise au point fixe, une seule mesure ponctuelle, pas de mesure de zone. Un firmware non officiel circulait à l'époque pour débrider l'E4 en E8 : à mentionner pour information, sans valeur pour une fiche technique.
