    Observations

    • FILLS A REAL GAP IN FLIR'S Cx LINEUP IN THIS COMPARISON: between the C5 (160 × 120, already covered) and the E96 (640 × 480, already covered), the C8 introduces an intermediate 320 × 240 sensor with a NETD of 50 mK, better than the already-documented C5 and C3-X.
    • According to FLIR's own official comparison of the three consumer Cx models, this is the only model in the economy range to exceed a 400°C measurement range.
    • Same housing and same ergonomics as the C5 according to FLIR's documentation, with the upgrade limited to the sensor and the measurement range.
